Amritsar Trip

Chandigarh-Dalhousie-Amritsar

A group of 61 students and seven teachers left the campus on 11th of August, 2016 for a trip to Chandigarh and Amritsar.

The students were put up for the first couple of days at tents in the Pine Eco camp near Barog in Himachal Pradesh. It was a different experience of living amid nature and enjoying bonfires. In Dalhousie, the group visited a pristine and beautiful palace in Khajjiar.

In Amritsar, the group visited Jalianwala Bagh to revisit Indian history. This was followed by a visit to the Golden Temple. The grandeur and serenity of the temple enchanted one and all.

The highlight of the trip was the visit to the Wagah border. It was an experience of a lifetime for the students to witness the show of might by the armed forces on both sides of the border.
