As part of the tours and treks programme, SBA organised a trip to God’s own country – Kerala for a group of 31 students who were accompanied by four teachers. The students were from the 5th and 6th grades. They had a gala time visiting important and historical monuments like the old Jew town, the Jewish synagogue, the Dutch palace in Cochin and the Rose garden and Tea museum in Munnar. The students also had a great time trekking through the mountains and valleys of Munnar and enjoying the lush green scenery of the tea plantations.
It was an exhilarating trip for the students as they understood why Kerala is known for its scenic beauty. The beautiful backwaters coupled with the lush green tea plantations were a sight to behold. The students came back from the trip truly appreciating the beauty of Kerala.
