Pune-Lonavla-Mahabaleshwar
As part of the tours and treks programme, a group of students visited Alibaug, Pune, Lonavla, and Mahabaleshwar for a sight-seeing trip.
At Alibaug, the students paid a visit to Mandova beach where they gorged on local delicacies like bhel puri, vada pav, and pakoras. On the way to Lonavla, the students were taken to Imagica Adlabs. Imagica Adlabs is a theme and amusement park where there are a lot of rides, shows, and variety of food. This part of the trip was enjoyed by everybody as they participated wholeheartedly in the plethora of rides at the facility. A special 0mention must be made here of the 3-D show giving a bird’s-eye view of India from the north to the south and the east to the west.
The students trekked to the Karla caves where they visited a Buddhist monastery and a Durga temple. Students also paid a visit to the Shaniwarwada Fort.
In Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar, the students engaged in trekking towards various hill points as well as food processing factories for chocolates and other savouries. The students also visited New Era School in Panchgani.
It was a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable trip for the students.
